The opening ceremony for the 8th Korea Agriculture Expo with the theme of ‘green agricultural products, happy customers’ was held on the morning of the 23rd at the Jeollanam-do Agricultural Technology Center in Sanpo-myeon, Naju-si. During the afternoon of the 10th, the second day of the 2009 The Great Battle of Myeongryang Festival in Wuldolmok of Jindo Island and Haenam, there was an exciting reenactment of the famous turtle ship battle that took place off the southern shores of Korea at The Great Battle of Myeongryang 412 years ago. The Jeollanam-do Provincial Office held an ‘F1-Day Event’ at the Mudeung Baseball Stadium in Gwangju during the afternoon of the 25th to celebrate the enactment of the F1 Support Act and to pray for successful hosting of the event where the last match of the season took place between the Kia Tigers and Woori Heroes.
